Our Marine Decking is designed to be durable under normal foot traffic conditions. However sharp objects such as knifes, pet’s claws, fishing rods, high heels ETC can damage the Material.

Marine Decking is very stain resistant and can be cleaned with water and certain stain removal products. However certain substances can stain the material if not cleaned within a timely manner.

With a new razor blade knife, replacing blade during cutting as blade loses its sharp edge.

Marine Decking can be seemed, and we recommend a 10-mm gap on EVA Foam.The material will naturally shrink over time up to 5 mm

With proper surface preparation and installation, a minimum of 5-7 years can be expected. With Indoor use even longer. None of the adhesives in this world are permanent.

Yes, it can if a corner has lifted you can use a super glue or clear polyurethane to glue sheet back down. If complete sheet has lifted the whole surface will have to be cleaned and prepped. A new sheet will need to be fitted.

REMOVING EXSISTING MATERIAL2018-01-24T07:18:57+10:00

Marine Decking is manufactured to have a semi-bond to surfaces but can be removed if required. To remove Marine Decking use a paint scraper or thin object. A plastic scraper is preferred as it will reduce damage to the surface. Once corner has been lifted pull on material until it completely peels off. If residual glue is left on surface use acetone, mineral spirits or turpentine to remove excess glue. Some painted surfaces can be damaged, so all care should be taken.

Use a clean rag and acetone to remove any oil wax or dirt. Clean well and let dry completely. If the boat is new, you should repeat several times, as new boats often have residual mold release that may hinder adhesion.

Yes, Marine Decking is water proof and UV Resistant.
